About Chintan
Chintan is a passionate and creative Dhrupad singer who is always eager to share through his teachings and concerts.
Chintan learned Dhrupad under Guru Shishya Parampara from Pt. Uday Bhawalkar
He did his Masters of Music from Lalit Kala Kendra, Pune University.
He has been awarded the “Yuva Gaurav Puraskar 2022” from Savitribai Phule Pune University,
Was awarded Junior Research Fellowship from Govt of India in 2012,
Became scholar at ITC SRA in 2012
Chintan taught at Bengal Sangeet Paramparalay, Dhaka, as a Junior Tutor under the guidance of Pt. Uday Bhawalkar.
Chintan has been performing in India at many of the major platforms and has also performed and taught in UK, Canada, USA, Vienna, Germany.
Chintan started a Dhrupad centre in Vadodara, Gujarat in 2020, under the banner of Alembic Dhrupad Foundation
